As you can imagine, it is a mammoth project requiring significant investment in logistics, planning and organization. The biggest challenge we face is that many of our rigorously selected participants are not in a position to pay the participation fees which includes food, accommodation and local transport at various locations visited during the journey. This is where we need your support.

Please go through the terms and conditions below before donating:

Terms & Conditions

  1. Sponsorship fee per participant is 800 GBP/1100 USD/Rs 50,000.
  2. Only those participants who are selected through the standard selection process by the Jagriti Yatra selection team will be eligible for sponsorship.
  3. All candidates must fill the application form to participate and undergo through the selection process.
  4. The sponsor does not participate in the selection process.
  5. Participation fee includes food, accommodation on the train (II Sleeper) and local transport during the Yatra.
  6. If the sponsor desires, he can choose a category which he wishes the sponsored participant belong to . Based on his choice, the relevant list of selected participants along with their profiles will be produced after Yatra, out of which he can select the participants. The sponsored participants will keep in touch with the sponsor over the course of the subsequent year.
  7. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Mumbai, accommodation and other expenses while in Mumbai before and after the event.

Tax Information

Jagriti Yatra is an initiative of the Jagriti Sewa Sansthan which is registered as NGO (Reg. no. – 31210/Gorakhpur). For Indian Donors, all donations to Jagriti Sewa Sansthan are exempt from income tax under Income Tax Act 80G. For Foreign Donors, we are registered under FCRA (Reg. no. – 136380066)
