Swapnil Kant Dixit

Executive Director

Swapnil Kant Dixit is the Executive Director for Tata Jagriti Yatra. After his graduation from IIT Kharagpur, he worked as a consultant in New Delhi for a year before joining the Tata Jagriti Yatra Team. His formative years saw a good mix of cities like Delhi and Lucknow, towns like Khudaganj in UP, and villages like Ghorakhal in Uttaranchal and Bahadurpur, deep within rural Uttar Pradesh. His experiences include advertising, rural education, architecture, theatre, analytics and music. Contact Swapnil.

Nandkumar Kalate

Project Coordinator

Nandkumar Kalate is the Project Coordinator for Tata Jagriti Yatra. With over 12+ years of IT experience across distributed geographies, diversified multi-cultural teams in India, Japan and the US, he likes discipline, integrity and positive attitude.He was born and brought up in Pune, and completed my Masters in Computer Management and MBA from Pune University. Ashutosh Kumar

Director of Programming

Ashutosh Kumar is the Director of Programming for Tata Jagriti Yatra. He did his B.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur in 2007 and worked as a Software Engineer for over a year in Chennai. He spent his growing years in villages and towns of Bihar, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. He is passionate about theatre, movies and physics. He founded a theatre group in Chennai and produced several short movies in his college days.Contact Ashutosh

Vibha Joshi

Manager Selections

Vibha Joshi is the Selection Manager for Tata Jagriti Yatra.Born and bought up in Mumbai she was very active in NSS in her college days. After her post graduation in Microbiology she has worked in renowned pharmaceutical MNC's in the field of product development. She is a diploma holder of NIIT. Vibha now works part-time for All India Radio as a news reader and translator. Out of keen interest in environment protection she is actively involved in a group working towards the goal of sustainable environment. Her hobbies include astronomy, music, art, reading, travelling.Contact Vibha

Partha Srinivasan

Media Coordinator

Partha Srinivasan is Media Cordinator for Tata Jagriti Yatra. With 3 years of Public Relations knowledge across sectors such as entertainment, media, hospitality, and IT, his media expertise has been harnessed and utilized for many clients such as Infosys Technologies, Microsoft India Development Centre, Honda Siel, Hero Honda Motors, Bosch, Sony Ericsson, to name a few. In collaboration with Dhanashree (his wife) they have also developed a line of corporate gifting solutions for clients such as Milestone Interactive, Alok Nanda & Co, Chilli's Restaurant and CommVault.Contact Partha

Vaishali Maind

Manager Yatri Sponsorship

Vaishali Maind is Manager, Yatri Sponsorship for Tata Jagriti Yatra. Born and brought up in places like Nashik and Pune. She has completed a PG in Management. She is currently working with Management Institute since 5+ years and working in the field of Career Counseling since last 8+ years. She likes to work with young and enthusiastic group of girls and boys. She is associated with a group of like minded women and working for empowerment of women house-help. Manager Role Models

A graduate of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Smriti brings her expertise and indomitable spirit and zeal to the project. She is interested in promoting and supporting rural enterprise and development.

Mandesh Gharat

Adminstrator Office

Mandesh Gharat is Office Adminstrator for Tata Jagriti Yatra. Born and brought up in Mumbai, he has done his B.A. and LLB from Mumbai University. He has good 24 years of experience of working in various companies - Air India, Rallis India, Tata Sons and Tata Fison Contact Mandesh

Board Members

Shashank Mani

Chairman

Shashank Mani is the Chairman of Jagriti Sewa Sansthan. He was the original architect of the 1997 Yatra, helping concieve and execute it. Shashank works for an IT - Services company, and is recognised as an industry expert in finance and accounting outsourcing. Shashank has written about the 1997 Yatra in his book 'India: Journey through a healing civilisation'. Shashank has a B. Tech from IIT - Delhi and an MBA (Hons) from IMD, Lausanne.

Raj Krishnamurthy - Board Member

Raj has over 15 years of global experience working in US, Singapore and UK for Applied Materials and the BOC Group. He has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay, MS from Purdue University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He is currently European Business Development Director at United Technologies - Fire and Security.

Rewati Prabhu - Board Member

Rewati has worked as an architect and urban designer in the USA, Europe and India. She is a Director of Frischmann Prabhu India, a 400 strong multidisciplinary design consultancy headquartered in Mumbai. Rewati leads large scale development projects and is passionate about urban regeneration in Indian cities. Within the Tata Jagriti Yatra board, she is guiding the selection process for students, facilitators and institutions we plan to visit.
