The Executive Team
Ashutosh Kumar is the Executive Director for Jagriti Yatra. He did his B.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur in 2007 and worked as a Software Engineer for over a year in Chennai. He spent his growing years in villages and towns of Bihar, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. He is passionate about theatre, movies and physics. He founded a theatre group in Chennai and produced several short movies in his college days.Contact Ashutosh
Vibha Joshi is the Selection Director for Jagriti Yatra.Born and bought up in Mumbai she was very active in NSS in her college days. After her post graduation in Microbiology she has worked in renowned pharmaceutical MNC's in the field of product development. She is a diploma holder of NIIT. Vibha now works part-time for All India Radio as a news reader and translator. Out of keen interest in environment protection she is actively involved in a group working towards the goal of sustainable environment. Her hobbies include astronomy, music, art, reading, travelling. Manager Sponsorship & Marketing
Aarti Chavan is the Sponsorship and Marketing Manager for Jagriti Yatra. A recipient of the Lila Poonawalla Foundation scholarship which was awarded for her post graduation and MBA, she was selected by the Foundation for a three week training program in Asha Centre, UK. Before joining Jagriti Yatra, she was working with a social start-up, I Say Organic, in New Delhi which works which connects the farmers to market and promotes organic farming. Manager Research & Programming
Anupreet Dhody is heading the Research wing of Jagriti Yatra. She studied Management at St.Xavier's College, Mumbai and after graduation she's been working for the Indian Capital Markets, now with a start-up providing financial services. She was born and brought up in Mumbai and grabs every opportunity to travel. She picks up a new hobby every month, all-embracing art of some form. Photography is her favorite hobby and she posts regularly on www.IndiaDailyPhoto.com

Swapnil Kant Dixit
Swapnil Kant Dixit is advisor to the Jagriti Yatra. He was the co-founder of the Jagriti Yatra and served as Director Operations and Executive Director of Jagriti Yatra for 5 years. He's currently pursuing MBA from Haas School of Business, Berkley.
After his graduation from IIT Kharagpur, he worked as a consultant in New Delhi for a year before joining the Jagriti Yatra Team. His formative years saw a good mix of cities like Delhi and Lucknow, towns like Khudaganj in UP, and villages like Ghorakhal in Uttaranchal and Bahadurpur, deep within rural Uttar Pradesh. His experiences include advertising, rural education, architecture, theatre, analytics and music. Contact Swapnil
Shashank Mani is the Chairman of Jagriti Sewa Sansthan. He was the original architect of the 1997 Yatra
, helping concieve and execute it. Shashank works for an IT - Services company, and is recognised as an industry expert in finance and accounting outsourcing. Shashank has written about the 1997 Yatra in his book 'India: Journey through a healing civilisation'. Shashank has a B. Tech from IIT - Delhi and an MBA (Hons) from IMD, Lausanne.
Raj has over 15 years of global experience working in US, Singapore and UK for Applied Materials and the BOC Group. He has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay, MS from Purdue University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He is currently European Business Development Director at United Technologies - Fire and Security.
Rewati has worked as an architect and urban designer in the USA, Europe and India. She is a Director of Frischmann Prabhu India, a 400 strong multidisciplinary design consultancy headquartered in Mumbai. Rewati leads large scale development projects and is passionate about urban regeneration in Indian cities. Within the Jagriti Yatra board, she is guiding the selection process for students, facilitators and institutions we plan to visit.
